Mr Mohamed S. Mohamed is a research assistant at the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR)’s Amani Centre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Sociology from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is an experienced and dedicated qualitative researcher with over a decade of professional engagement in health and social research. He specialises in ethnographic fieldwork, participatory research methods and mixed-methods approaches, with a focus on traditional healing, antimicrobial resistance, malaria control and the social impacts of pandemics. He is committed to interdisciplinary collaboration and community-based research in Tanzania.
