Mr. Robert Mussa Njee is a research scientist at National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) and a postgraduate fellow in Toxicology and Environmental Health from Utrecht University. His professional expertise spans physical, chemical, and microbiological risk assessment, epidemiology, risk management, and the prevention of human disease. Mr. Njee has significant experience in policy development and implementation, particularly in areas related to environmental health and public health safety. His current research focus on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), infectious disease prevention, and air pollution, pathogen transmission within healthcare environments and the development of effective prevention strategies to mitigate associated health risks.

He is a member of the Infection Control Africa Network (ICAN), where he contributes technical expertise in WASH in healthcare facilities and strategies for infection prevention and control (IPC).
