Coleman Kishamwe

PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCHER

Coleman Kishamawe holds a Master of Science in (Biostatistics and Epidemiology). He is employed by the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) and currently holds a Senior Research officer position. Coleman has been involved in a number of data analyses activities with mainly focusing on HIV and AIDS, Malaria, Child and Maternal Health and Schistosomiasis within and outside Tanzania.  Coleman has also been involved with supporting and supervising students from both local and International Universities. He has over 30 international pear review publications. He has taken part in national, regional and international scientific meetings/conferences. He also participated in several research activities coordinated with research Networks like INDEPTH (The global Network of Health and demographic surveillance systems), ALPHA Network (Analysis of Longitudinal Population Data on HIV in Africa) . Through his contributions, Coleman Kishamawe has helped advance the understanding of critical health challenges and has played a role in shaping policies and interventions aimed at improving health outcomes across the country.
