Dr. Maryyusta Peter Nguyamu
Dr. Maryyusta Peter Nguyamu is a RESEARCH OFFICER at the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR). She holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (KCMUCo), awarded in 2020.
Since joining NIMR in 2023, Dr. Nguyamu has been coordinating pre-clinical studies at the NIMR Mabibo Centre, supporting the development and evaluation of new therapeutic interventions prior to clinical testing.
Her research interests span in both pre-clinical and clinical research, with a focus on generating evidence to inform the safety and efficacy of medical innovations. As a trained physician and emerging researcher.
