The National Institute for Medical Research invites academics, policy makers, practitioners, and the general public to a 4th Traditional Medicine scientific conference to be held on 29th August 2025 in Dodoma, Tanzania. The conference will be preceded by the African Traditional Medicine Week exhibitions, which will run from 25th to 30th August 2025. The theme for the scientific conference is “Advancing Traditional Medicine for Health Equity, Innovation, and Sustainable Development.” This theme echoes across the globe, aligning local needs with international health goals – such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – and it demonstrates that traditional medicine, when validated by research and integrated into policy, is a cornerstone of innovation, resilience, and health equity worldwide.

5. Author’s names should be written as Initials followed by Surname, e.g., H Malinye; JJ Kayumba.
6. Affiliation and email address of the presenting author should follow a list of authors.
7. The abstract should have the following elements Background, Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion
8. Please indicate whether your presentation is an Oral or Poster.
