Mr. Peter Agrea was born in In Rungwe Mbeya Tanzania on 16 November 1986. He graduated from Kilosa secondary school in 2007 with a Cirtificate of Ordinary Secondry education, and then He joined Mambwe secondary school where he graduated with a Cirtificate of Advanced education Level with PCM combination in 2010. In 2013 He graduated from University of Dar es salaam with the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. After receiving his education, Mr Agrea in January 2014 Joined NIMR-Mbeya as an Intern in Data Management for six Months, then in August 2014 NIMR-Mbeya extended his contract to work as a Data Manager in Data Management Department. In September 2016, Mr Agrea was realocated to ICT department and he started to work as Acting Head of ICT department until February 2017 where He confermed to be Head of ICT Department. Mr Agrea has the following knowledge and skill that help him to perform his duties; Database System design using Microsoft Access, Visual basics 6.0, Vb.net, Visual studio and web based system using Laravel and MYSQL, Developing Research Database system using Open Clinica, Data analysis and Management using STATA, Development and Management of ACASI sysem using Questionare Design Studio (QDS), System administration using Linux and Windows OS, Computer network installation, and configuration, Computer Maintanance, website development, Backup systems installation, Installation and Management of Active directory and group policies and Leadership skills. Mr Agrea has the following notable Achievement; Involved in the development of Research Ethics information Management System (REIMS), Development of Payroll system which used at NIMR-MMRC, Development of Salary slip portal for staffs, Label printing systems, which used to print barcode labels for the projects, Development of Protocol tracking systems for MMREC and Development of Projects, drugs expire and staffs cirtificates expire tracking system (ARTS).
