Lwitiho Sudi
Lwitiho Edwin Sudi is a Research scientist at NIMR Mbeya Medical Research Centre (NIMR-MMRC) www.nimr-mmrc.org since 2011. He has been the Investigator on the febrile illness studies, HIV and the related studies at NIMR Mbeya Medical Research Centre and therefore he has been involved on the implementationand coordination of the studies at the site. He is the Molecular biologist and holder of a Master science in life science specialized in Health and Biomedical sciences from Nelson Mandela African Institution of science and Technology in Arusha, Tanzania. Lwitiho has more than 11 years of experience in malaria research, HIV, TB and emerging viral researches with highly increasingly interest on diagnostic and operational studies, Immunology of infectious disease, Bioinformatics and Zoonotic studies. As Laboratory research scientist and field coordinator with higher training on GCLP and other expertise on the implementation of ICH GCP, Lwitiho currently is working with TB studies and other emerging viral diseases. He has also been trained on Health research ethics at Advanced level and managed to publish on Malaria, HIV and emerging viral infectious diseases
